The position

We are expanding and looking for a highly motivated and metric-driven Head of Marketing (Inbound Marketing) m/f to actively support the marketing team in our Munich office. You will mainly be responsible for the generation of sales leads through the use of inbound marketing instruments, such as marketing automation platforms, social media, blogs, webinars, and whitepapers. You will also proactively lead a marketing team of two marketing specialists and supervise all marketing activities.

Key responsibilities

  • developing a strong inbound marketing strategy
  • introducing and setting up necessary tools
  • coordinating lead generation activities with a sales team and external contractors
  • creating premium content which attracts applicable audiences to our properties
  • converting visitors into qualified leads in order to keep our sales pipe filled
  • leading a team of 2-3 marketing specialists in planning and organizing their work

Required skills

  • deep knowledge of marketing automation software (e.g. HubSpot, Marketo)
  • proven track record in lead generation and content marketing
  • exceptional writing and editing skills
  • a data-driven mindset, interested in using data to optimize lead generation strategies
  • a hands-on, startup-, and team player attitude
  • fluent English and German language skills
  • proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • a good technical understanding
  • 5+ years inbound marketing and 3+ years management experience

Desired skills

  • proficiency in the use of Google Analytics
  • practical knowledge in keyword research and on-site SEO
  • basic understanding of landing page design and conversion optimization
  • knowledge of digital business models and/or the online payment industry
